Sailors Manuel Jung and Mareike Nrnberg are currently stranded in Crosshaven and need your help!
The pair have been sailing around the Atlantic Ocean for the last eleven months and have stopped off in the Canaries, Azores and on their way to the Emerald Isle, they suffered bad damage to their boats rudder.
The boat, which is now under repair in Crosshaven Boatyard is not expected to be fixed until August 12th, and the couple now have nowhere to stay.
In a post on Crosshaven Notice Board Mareike asked locals from Crosshaven and surrounding areas to help them find suitable accommodation until the boat is ready for the water again. "If you know someone who has a room available, a bunk at his or her boat or a camper van that we could rent, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are super grateful for any help or tips for accommodation!"
