Tom Lester Snr recently assumed the role of Honourary Club President of Passage West GAA club. As a club we are delighted for Tom, his wife Helen & all the Lester family. A Passage clubman to his core, Tom played his first match for the club in 1952, the year the main pitch was opened.

Tom was the captain of the victorious 1960 Cork County Intermediate hurling winning side & has served in many roles on various Senior & Juvenile Committees over the years. Tom trained a number of underage teams over the years & was also co-editor of “Glor an Pasaiste” on a few occasions. We wish Tom all the very best in his role over the next 2 years.
