Crosshaven Tri Club has grown steadily in 2025, reaching 110 members this year, including 40 new members who joined over the past 18 months. With the support of new Chair, David Pollard, and a new larger committee, the club welcomes members of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes, with a focus on building fitness, encouraging participation, and fostering a strong sense of community.

As part of our March Motivation initiative, driven by our Training and Development Officer, Jason Tivy, nine teams have formed to boost engagement and promote health and wellbeing. These teams are not only encouraging regular training but also contributing to a greater sense of connection across the club. Each week in March, 30 members have taken part in Tuesday evening runs, not to mention the ongoing spinning, cycling, and swimming training, creating a consistent and supportive environment for athletes of all abilities.

The month also saw notable performances from our female members. Laura Healy secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the Irish Mountain Running Association Munster series, while Kerrie Collins placed 2nd at Run Crosshaven. These results reflect the growing strength and participation of the club.As part of the wider Triathlon Ireland community, Crosshaven Tri Club continues to support active lifestyles and positive social connections through sport, both locally and beyond.
