Dirty Laundry - Disha Bose 


Disha Bose was born in India but now lives locally. Her debut novel Dirty Laundry sees Desperate Housewives meet West Cork in a gripping tale. She worked in the tech industry before joining the Masters in Creative Writing programme at University College Dublin.Bose is currently gearing up to launch her second novel I Will Blossom Anyway in May. 





The Chosen Child - Janet O’Leary


Carrigaline woman Janet O’Leary is a self-publishing author, and released her second novel The Chosen Child a sequel to her pre-teen/YA novel An Encounter with the Number Twelve but it can also be read as a stand alone. 





The Language of Remembering - Patrick Holloway


Patrick Holloway launched his debut novel last Thursday night in Waterstones, Cork City. He is the winner of the Bath Short Story Award, The Molly Keane Creative Writing Prize, The Flash 500 Prize, the Allingham Fiction contest and he was the recipient of the Paul McVeigh Residency in 2023. The Language Of Remembering is a tender tale and follows how Oisín reconnects with his mother who has early onset Alzheimer's through her native tongue. 





I’m a Big Boy Now -  Eamon O’Leary 


Eamon O’Leary’s memoir I’m A Big Boy Now hit shelves last year. Described as a “ tonic for the soul”, O’Leary recalls tales of his childhood. From football in the streets to scraped knees to home made go-karts, I’m a Boy Boy Now is the perfect nostalgic read.
