A young man from Carrigaline, Samuel Palliser Kehoe, is getting his big acting break on CBBC.
Samuel Palliser Kehoe lives in Castleheights in Carrigaline, is 12 years old and is in sixth class in Carrigaline Educate Together.
Samuel will be playing Kid Songwriter in Nova Jones which is s starting on Wednesday 22nd September on Rte2 and CBBC at 5pm and has 10 episodes. Samuel will be in seven episodes.
This will be his first experience on screen but he has appeared on stage many times including playing the part of Mini Wishee Washee in the Cork Opera House pantomime Aladdin in Shawlies in the Everyman theatre directed by Marion Wyatt and as a soloist with the Cork Youth Orchestra in Killarney.
He also trains with Stagebox in London every school holiday and has been part of the company of National Youth Music Theatre UK in 2020 and 2021.
Aside from acting, Samuel loves music, acting and sport and plays soccer with Carrigaline Soccer Club, rugby with Cork Constitution and is a student of the Cork school of music and the Performers Academy in the Firkin Crane.
